Yearnings

These are rather small as tulips go and only last a couple of days unless it remains quite cool, so preserving their brilliant red as a scan seemed natural.

Yearnings received a Judge's Award at the October 2009 "Focus" juried photography show at the Cultural Arts Alliance Gallery in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and an Honorable Mention at the June 2010 joint show between the Blackstone Valley Art Association and the Franklin Art Association, hosted at the Premier Image Gallery in Ashland, Massachusetts.
