Clematis

This was my first serious scan after some simple "is it working?" tests. I was blown away with the depth and clarity of detail produced and knew right then I was hooked. I didn't know at the time if I'd have any talent for composition and arrangement, but even if I simply captured the transient beauty of our garden I would have been satisfied. (I also knew I'd need some more storage: 400+ megabytes for most of these images, and the really high resolution ones came in at 1.6 GB!)
